The Anchor Society is proud to support the Anchor Robotics Personalised Assisted Living Studio based at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory.
Led by Dr Praminda Caleb-Solly the Laboratory is helping to develop and test innovations and technologies that will help older people retain their independence.
The studio comprises an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area and a bathroom and bedroom. The studio has been set up with a network of wireless sensors linked to a Smart Home Controller Hub, Wi-Fi cameras and an ADSL connection.
