Michael Bothamley

Michael Bothamley is a retired real estate lawyer, a long standing member of the Anchor Society and a former President.

Amongst his charitable endeavours Michael sits as a Trustee of St Monica Trust and the Nisbet Trust, is a member of the Standing Committee of the Society of Merchant Venturers and chairs the Appeal Board for the proposed St Mary Redcliffe development.

Formerly he has been a governor of Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital and Colston’s Girls’ School and a trustee of Bristol Zoo, the Tobacco Factory Arts Trust and Clifton RFC. He has also been President of Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Initiative and the Canynges Society.

Michael was High Sheriff of Bristol in 2014/15.
